What will you learn?
This 15-week course may call itself basic, but it is everything but basic! Not only will you learn a beginner choreography, you will also learn other aspects of performing burlesque.
Each class is dedicated to take you one step closer to improve your skills as a performer. We will look in to theatricality, musicality, but also hair, make-up, and even costume-building!
At the end of each course there will be a shownight. Basic Burlesque participants are invited to join in as stage kittens, host, production assistant, or to apply as a performer.

15-week Intermediate Burlesque Course: Summer Edition
What will you learn?
A perfect follow-up course for the Basic Burlesque track. This course will take a closer look at "light" burlesque. It focuses on the comedic side of burlesque, with a touch of the classic elegance that we love so much. We will be working on facial expressions, comedic timing, musicality, and of course a choreography!
At the end of each course there will be a shownight. Burlesque Douceur participants are invited to perform their Burlesque Douceur choreography there!

What will you learn?
A perfect follow-up course for the Basic Burlesque track. This course will take a closer look at “dark” burlesque. It focuses on alternative styles like gore-lesque, with a touch of mystique and fantasy. We will be working on facial expressions, theatrical movement, musicality, and of course a choreography!
At the end of each course there will be a shownight. Burlesque Douceur participants are invited to perform their Burlesque Rudesse choreography there!

Coaching
Are you looking to kick-off your performer career with a well-developed act? Maybe you are a seasoned performer who needs a fresh look, or you are stuck with an act you love but just can’t get right. If you find yourself anywhere on that spectrum, this track may be what you need!
This is a 7-week track in which you will receive 1-on-1 coaching sessions to develop your next act. We start out with a chat to see what you needs are. Based on that, you will receive a personalized training programme that will have you all set by the end of the road.
By the end of this track you will have had:

- Hair and Make-Up tips
- Video recordings
- Performance slot at the upcoming Shownight

Are you looking to expand your performance skills? This 4-week track offers 1-on-1 sessions to finetune your host/MC skills and raise the roof on your big night!
This course is the perfect prep if you have been invited to host a show as MC and don’t know where to start, or if you are a seasoned host looking to feel more confident in their skillset.
It starts with an online session in which we find out your wishes, after which follow 4 1-on-1 sessions about but not limited to writing a script, audience interaction, time-keeping, and improvisation.

Stuck on an act? In need of feedback? Or looking to try something new?
This is the session for you!
This 1-on-1 training session will start with an (online) meeting in which we discuss your wants and needs. Then, we will have a 90-minute personal session where we go through your choreo, look at your costume, record your act, or work on anything that may have come up in our chat.
